THE PROJECT

The Realms application is a management and communication tool for communities designed from Web3 principles.
Currently, more than 9 Million Users make use of the platform.
The Realms allows access to live streaming channels and videoconference rooms exclusive to the members of each community.
Users are verified before their first access, according to rules established by the community itself.
Members of each community interact via multimedia chat (images, audio, video, text, and links), polls, quizzes, and video collaboration, all with the assurance that the content is visible only to the community.
In addition, it is possible to record live broadcasts for on-demand viewing.
Each community manages and moderates the video conference channels and rooms.
A series of analytical usage reports are available to the community. Realms creates a safe environment for collaboration on topics of community interest and contributes to achieving its purpose.

FEATURES

Channel chat is persistent, recorded in the cloud so it will not overload the user's device.
Application of personalized filter for undesirable words, excluding terms automatically.
In addition to the channel chat, the users can also exchange messages directly with each other.

Blockchain authentication ensures that only current community users can access the platform. It can be via crypto wallets or directly on the blockchain used in the project.
Optionally, depending on the business rules of the community, authentications can also be done by nicknames or email (this functionality can be used, for example, for temporary guests for specific events).
It is also possible to send temporary invitations for sessions within the community.

From Rooms, the moderator can start videoconferencing sessions with users.
Screen capture from the cell phone or the user's computer (e.g., Powerpoint presentation).
Multimedia chat may be enabled, allowing PDF files, videos, audios, and images to be attached.
Text messages are recorded in the cloud and do not occupy the mobile device's internal memory.
The moderator has the power to block users temporarily.
The moderator can delete chat messages.
Use of voice avatars to maintain anonymity. (Video avatars are under development in the 2022/2023 roadmap).

The feature that allows Live Quizzes and Polls can be enabled.
The low-latency operation allows the Live Quiz to be truly interactive, since users, in addition to answering questions in real time, can also participate via chat and / or video of the broadcast, if authorized by the moderator.
Poll results can be linked to smart contracts and recorded on the blockchain.

The session can be recorded and viewed On-Demand.
The system can generate attendance reports for live sessions and on-demand views.

The moderator can assign tasks to users in a room, including text, multiple choice questions, essay questions, PDF documents, images, and videos to support courses, lectures, and training for the community.
The users will be able to complete their assignments on-demand.
The Admin will be able to monitor the user’s deliveries through a web-based management panel.

The contracting institution can have resources integrated into the application via webview, such as Marketplace, the project's Landing page and others.

Communication service between users.
The users do not expose their phone numbers.
The messaging service has multimedia features such as: attaching documents, photos, audios, videos, location.

Youtube streaming integration is possible in at least two ways:
a) Youtube Live streaming as the content source for the solution's broadcast channels.
b) Make Youtube video sequences available in the solution's channels for on-demand access.
Some possible applications:
Allow a broadcast on a Youtube channel to be accessed only through Realms by community users who have authenticated themselves on the Blockchain.
Perform an open Youtube broadcast with blocked chat and allow only community users that access it through Realms to interact in the platform's multimedia chat.
